Food Trucks, Food Crawls, Restaurants and Diners – Oh MY!!

Eden’s Market for YESS is Back!

Eden’s Market/Jaime’s Corner is a farmer’s market project that started last year.  This is the only market in Edmonton that supports a charity.  All of the stall rental fees go to YESS (Youth Empowerment and Support Services).  Eden’s runs every Sunday from 11am to 4pm and they are located on trendy 124 Street and 106 Avenue.

Please note – the hours have changed from 11am to 4pm.

Eden’s is a small market with a big heart.  They have a nice selection of vendors, a couple of food trucks, and an area to sit and enjoy food. They also have a face painting area so you can keep the kids occupied while you are shopping.

The best thing about the market this year is “Twice Upon a Time”.  YESS youth are launching a new fundraising initiative based on “up-cycling”.  Transforming things that are broken down, worn out or used into something new, bright and functional again.

“Twice Upon a Time” needs you!  They are looking for:

  • Creative people to SUGGEST awesome up-cycling projects.
  • Resourceful people to DO awesome up-cycling projects.
  • Friendly people to HOST the “Twice Upon a Time” Boutique.
  • Generous people to DONATE things they can up-cycle.

If you can help, please feel free to find the contact link on the menu above and I would be happy to give you the contact information.

The vendors that participate in Eden’s Market are all like family.  One tight little community.  New vendors are always welcome.  Your business not only supports these great vendors, but also supports YESS.

The food trucks of course, are always fantastic!  Street Eats specializes in comfort food with a gourmet twist – I will be doing a feature on them soon!  Dolce and Banana makes a mean Mango Italian Soda and some great lattes.  Knosh Catering provides British Pub Fare with a twist; they have had a feature done here on the blog.  Check them all out!

Many thanks to Patricia and the rest of the family and vendors that put together this great Sunday market experience!  I hope to make it a habit this year.
