Sculpting is an important skill to have for any makeup artist or makeup enthusiast. It will allow you to build and create your own designs. Most prosthetics are developed from sculpting. This workshop will dig into why first learning to sculpt is so important for this process. Sculpting is best taught in person. So much of sculpting is how to operate and use sculpting tools. Stephanie is excited to share her experience and expertise on sculpting with you!
Stephanie is a graduate of Blanche MacDonald Centre and has been working professionally as a makeup artist in Edmonton. Stephanie is very excited to share her love of makeup with you!
This a hands-on workshop will cover:
• Learn which tools are needed, how to use them and where to source them
• Explore different types of clay, which work best for sculpting and why
• Practice sculpting different shapes
• Build different textures like scales, gills and skin
• Learn how to apply your sculpting skills to making your own prosthetics
• Learn how to preserve your sculpted projects
Students will be given clay to use and take home. All other materials and tools will be provided for the workshop.
