Edible Tree Planting Event

GROUP EDIBLE TREE PLANTING EVENT!

Sustainable Food Edmonton has partnered with the City of Edmonton’s Root for Trees team to bring you this group edible tree planting excursion. With the help of the Root for Trees team, we will be planting edible trees in the Lynwood neighborhood to help diversify their selection of wild plants and trees.

Bring your kids, your dogs, and whoever else you think will enjoy a couple of hours in the sun planting trees to make our river valley more green and beautiful!

Location: Lynnwood Neighbourhood (***exact meeting location will be sent to registrants via email)

Cost: FREE 🙂

NOTE: We will require a minimum of 10 participants for this event. If we get less than 10 participants, we may have to cancel on short notice.

ALL PLANTING SUPPLIES, PLANTS AND TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED BY ROOT FOR TREES. JUST BRING YOUR LUNCH, SUN HAT, SUN SCREEN AND YOUR GOOD ENERGY!
