Food4Good will be opening Edmonton’s first Community Food Centre fall of 2019!! What is a Community Food Centre? Come join us to find out at this exclusive screening of SIX PRIMROSE!

Food4Good Presentation & Question Period: 8:30 pm.

SIX PRIMROSE – A feature-length documentary film about food sustainability, local knowledge, and community action. Filmed on location at the Dartmouth North Community Food Centre, Six Primrose takes us into a community where strengths are highlighted, people are welcomed, and food is included in every engagement. Labels of single mother, new immigrant, disabled, addict, poor are left at the door. This is a community where lives are celebrated and opportunities are explored. By tracing the lives of community members, Six Primrose chronicles the dramatic impact accessing healthy food and a social network has had on the lives of this community, revealing the Food ​Centre’s deep effect on the entire neighbourhood.

There is no charge for this event but If you are able, please consider making a donation. You can make a donation when you register online or at the door the night of the screening. All proceeds will support the work of Food4Good & The Trinity Food Justice Team. Pre-registering will help us plan for refreshments and seating.

You do not need to print tickets. Plenty of overflow parking across the street at Meadowlark Mall. Meadowlark bus transit station is directly across as well!
