Prairie on the Plate at Under the High Wheel

On Thursday Jan 17, 2019, Chef Doreen Prei will host the first Prairie on the Plate dinner of the year in the Taste Alberta dining series at Under the High Wheel.
Chef Prei’s four-course Asian inspired menu will feature ingredients from Taste Alberta‘s commodity partners: Alberta Turkey, Alberta Chicken, Alberta Canola, Egg Farmers of Alberta, Alberta Milk, Alberta Pulse Growers Commission, and Alberta Pork.

Chickpea and mung bean cakes, turkey confit, hoisin sauce, cucumber and green onion

Bun Cha – grilled pork belly, Vietnamese pork broth, perilla leaves and herbaceous salad

Smoked chicken stir fry, Korean sweet potato noodles, Thai basil, chilies, eggplant

Passion fruit crème brûlée.
