The Grizzlar’s One Year Anniversary Party!

THE GRIZZLAR IS CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY!

They say the first year of business is the hardest and most dangerous! Its been a wild ride, but we crushed it, and now we’re celebrating!

As you know, we don’t just roast and sell specialty coffee in a cool downtown cafe, we do it all with intention to build our city and the love of independent culture around us. Through community connections made supporting the Boyle Street Community Services organization, Hate Free Yeg, CJSR FM 88.5, Sampler Cafe, Up + Downtown Music Festival, Don’t Wanna Hear It Fest, This Is Pop Weekend and the All Ages punk and drag scenes we have brought many new people into the world of specialty coffee while getting to know our neighbours.

We are a small crew with a big mission and we’re supported by our customers and the people around us. Heart felt thank you to everyone who has helped us to get this far, we really love you all!

We’re putting together a great afternoon, featuring music from the Sampler Cafe Beat Maker’s Collective, information about community renewal and support from the Boyle Street Community Services organization, the best espresso selection we can muster, new coffees, Tea from Pitch Black North, the Punk Posters art show and interesting conversations to wrap it all up. In short, all the things you love about The Grizzlar.
